Hi Corne,
The foods outlined above are beneficial in balancing your blood sugar, in other words, helping it not to go too low or too high but to stay in a good 'zone' throughout the day.
If you suffer from very low blood sugar, you need to look at what you are currently eating and why it is not keeping your blood sugar high enough. Also look at the times you are eating, how long do you leave in between your meals?
Visiting a qualified dietician could be very beneficial to you as I know how having low blood sugar can affect ones daily life! Patrick Holfords book 'The Holford diet' has many recipes and also explains the above information in much more detail, you should be able to find it in your local library. If you have any further questions please feel welcome to email me at lela@eat-salad.com.
Kind regards,
Lela
